Choosing a provider

Superfone is a great fit for AI voice agents. If you need agents to place manual calls from the CRM, or to transfer live calls, use Vobiz, Twilio, Exotel or Tata Tele for those flows — you can run more than one voice integration at a time.

Step 1: Request Voice API Access

Superfone provisions API keys manually.

  1. Email hello@superfone.in with your company name, use case, and expected call volume
  2. Ask for SFVoPI (Voice API) access to be enabled on your account

Step 2: Create Your API Key

  1. Log in to the Superfone Admin Dashboard
  2. Go to Teams → Settings → Create API key
  3. Copy the key — you will paste it into Expedify next

Step 3: Configure the Integration in Expedify

  1. In Expedify, go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Select Superfone Voice
  4. Integration Name: give it a name (e.g. "Superfone Sales")
  5. API Key: paste the key from Step 2
  6. Audio Codec: leave as PCMA unless you have a reason to change it — it is Superfone's native codec and avoids transcoding
  7. Click Add Caller ID and add your Superfone VoIP number, marking one as default
  8. Click Create Integration

When you save, Expedify automatically creates a Superfone app pointing at your Expedify webhook URLs. You do not need to configure webhooks by hand.

Step 4: Enable Inbound Calls

Inbound calls reach Expedify only once a number is linked to the Expedify app.

  1. Go to the Superfone Admin Dashboard
  2. Open your numbers and link the number you want to use to the Expedify app
  3. A number can be linked to only one app at a time

To see the webhook URLs Expedify generated, open the integration card and click Webhook URLs.

Step 5: Test It

  1. Build a workflow with a Voice Inbound Trigger and a Voice Agent node, or use a Make Voice Call node for outbound
  2. Select your Superfone integration on the node
  3. Run the workflow, or call your Superfone number

Troubleshooting

"Authentication failed" when saving

  • Confirm the API key is correct and that Voice API access is enabled on your account
  • Superfone returns 401 UnAuthorized, Please Provide Valid API Key for a bad key

Outbound call never connects

  • Check the from number is a Superfone VoIP number linked to an active app
  • Both numbers must be in E.164 format (e.g. +919876543210)

Inbound calls don't reach Expedify

  • Confirm the number is linked to the Expedify app in the Superfone dashboard
  • A number linked to a different app will not deliver calls to Expedify

Call connects but there is no audio

  • Confirm the codec in Expedify matches what your account is provisioned for
  • PCMA at 8kHz is the safe default

"Manual calling is not supported"

  • Expected. Superfone has no API to bridge two call legs. Use another voice provider for manual calls.
